I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southeastern LA University with a BA in Education.

  I have been teaching at Trafton Academy for 12 1/2 years. 

I currently teach 8th grade LA History and reading, as well as 7th grade American History.

Additionally, I am the assistant principal of our school.

  I have been married to my husband Chuck for thirty-four years. 

We have two children, Joe and Ashley, both of whom are graduates

of Trafton Academy and St. Thomas Aquinas.

  In addition to spending time with my family, I love to have

dinner with friends -- a.k.a. "The Ya-Ya's". 

  My favorite sports are baseball (mostly LSU and the Astros) and

college football, especially LSU. 

  My favorite subject is history -- particularly American history and Louisiana history.

  In my spare time, I love computing,  reading, and cooking.

  My favorite food is seafood.  I also love coffee and sweet iced tea.
